About
Youth Central's mission is to inspire, engage and celebrate youth through community participation. Our goal is to change the perception of youth in our communities by giving young people the tools and support to become engaging, empathetic and caring citizens with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
For 25 years, Youth Central has provided meaningful volunteer opportunities to young people in Calgary. We are currently the largest youth volunteering organization in North America, with nine unique programs. In 2017, Youth Central engaged 1464 youth volunteers in over 32647 hours and 731 unique projects given to the community.
