Conflict is inevitable. How we deal with conflict determines if outcomes are positive or negative. PMAST believes that by teaching young people to effectively communicate with each other and the adults in their world, we empower them to use their words instead of their fists. Through our work, we have seen that providing youth and families with proactive skills to handle conflict reduces bullying, violence, and stress, and we have a track record of supporting communities of youth and adults as they navigate toward a more harmonious and bully-free environment. PMAST does this with effective programs that are responsive to the current social climate and identified needs. Â
