CALGARY FLAMES SPORTS BANK
The Calgary Flames Sports Bank provides no cost sports equipment to qualified low-income families of southern Alberta to ensure that all kids have equal opportunity to participate in the sport(s) they choose.
Our Goals:
- To gather, recycle and redistribute new and gently used sports equipment at no cost to those kids would otherwise be denied the opportunity to participate.
- Help low income families in need provide opportunities for their kids to be able to pursue their dreams in sport as well as developing healthy and active lifestyles.
- Help kids and families access used sports equipment at no cost where a need exists in Southern Alberta.
- Deliver on the vision of our founder Bill Comrie, our board and our partners as we work to make sport more accessible for vulnerable kids throughout Southern Alberta.
