Through arts-based group programs and arts-based community-engagement projects, Antyx facilitates marginalized youth’s social and emotional learning in order for them to meet significant development milestones and achieve a successful transition to adulthood. Youth with strong social and emotional learning skills have greater resilience, self-esteem, independence, sense of identity, connection and trusting social networks. Together, empowered youth can improve their schools, neighbourhoods and communities.

Antyx Community Arts works with youth between the ages of 13 to 20+ years. Our focus on working with youth who are immigrants, Aboriginal, low-income, LGBTQ+ ensures our organizational commitment to increasing equal and equitable access for youth who may otherwise face additional barriers to success.
