Airdrie and District Hospice Society

Airdrie and District Hospice Society’s mission is to enhance community capacity by supporting the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of those affected by a life-limited illness. Our service area extends from Balzac north to Carstairs, east to Beiseker and west to Madden.
We provide compassionate care to those living with a life-limiting illness, as well as grief and bereavement support to the families and friends of those who have lost loved ones, caregivers and anyone impacted by a diagnosis or loss. ADHS aims to keep palliative care clients close to home and to their loved ones. The Society provides a Compassionate Care Fund to patients and their families, respite care for caregivers, as well as grief support to those who have lost a loved one.
Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink, through its generous support, enables us to provide grief support programs to children and youth using age-specific resources developed by Rainbows for All Children Canada. For more information please visit https://www.airdriehospice.ca/.
